I like sword far more than any other weapon but splitstaff imo is the best for yokai. Odachi is the best against humans. Kusa and axe are also great against yokais. And i agree with the odachi. Tonfa would be great because their speed but short range perfectly compliment the Odachi's slow but high range style. Also the dexterity scaling on Tonfas is utter shit so you could probably focus on the other 2 stats and Strength (for the Odachi) instead.
